James Haggar, Political Consultant and Principal with M State Partners, has held leadership roles in political campaigns up & down the ballot. He was the campaign manager for Erin Murphy’s 2018 run for Governor of Minnesota and, lucky for us, has agreed to serve as expert faculty in the future Healing Politics Candidate School for Nurses and Midwives.

There are so many elected offices: City Council, Library Board, Mayor, County Commissioner, Board of Education, State Legislature and each one has unique responsibilities and impact. James will show us how to choose the right elected office based on our individual interests, clinical experiences, and leadership trajectories.
