Lisa, once Kimberly’s advisor and now her partner, collaborated with Kimberly and a fellow classmate to conceive a program aimed at empowering nurses and midwives to pursue successful political careers.

Their vision materialized as the groundbreaking Yale Campaign School for Nurses and Midwives, scheduled for its pilot run in May 2020. Despite setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, their determination remained unwavering.
