Agenda/Curriculum:
We guided participants every step of the way and offered support before and after the in-person Campaign School. While it was the centerpiece of our training program, it was not the entire program.
Early in 2025, we hosted a virtual fundraising session to help participants learn the basics and create a plan to raise funds for their tuition and travel expenses—if they chose to do so. Participants left with a clear, actionable plan.
Four weeks after the Campaign School, we met virtually for a follow-up session to address questions that arose as participants put their training into action. Whether they needed to clarify a strategy or fine-tune their GOTV plan, we were there to help.
Over three days of training and role-play, we dug deeply into these topics:
- Campaign Planning
- Campaign Budgeting
- Campaign Structure and Organization
- Messaging and Communications Strategy
- Media training: Speeches, Interviews
- Campaign Finance
- Ethics
- Fundraising
- Voter Contact Strategy
- Grassroots Organizing
- Get Out the Vote (GOTV)
